Anglican Bishop, Most Rev’d Dr. E.O Chukwuma (OON), has been popularly known for meddling in political matters in the country of which are sometimes controversial.
Recently the Bishop caused a stir after he lashed out at supporters of the Labour Party in Nigeria saying Enugu State people would never be part of their controversial “Obidients” campaign.
Most has tagged him “money Bishop” or “political Bishop” due to his ‘ever meddling in political matters’ with many claiming that the Bishop is being bribed by Political elites to campaign for them.
His recent controversial political statement where he hit out at Labour Party’s political movement took place on Thursday at Eziokwe Village, Ndiagu Akpugo, Nkanu West local government area of Enugu State during the burial ceremony which he officiated.
During his alleged statement at the burial, the priest’s statement was in support of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the upcoming general election.
Many have taken to social media to voice their anger and ask why the priest is making such statement at a burial ceremony which has nothing to do with politics.
