The Hospital where Big Brother Naija Reality Star, Patrick Fakoya popularly known as Rico Swavey died after he was involved in a car crash should be closed while it’s unprofessional Nurses should be charged to court for murder.
The Reality Star was involved in a gastly car crash and was rushed to yet-to-be-named hospital in Lagos where the nurses negligence was said to have contributed to his sad demise.
Rico’s death sparked outrage on social media after a 30-second video showing nurses at the hospital filming the star while he was in a critical condition instead of trying to save his life.
In the video, one of the nurses can be heard calling for help to put the star on a stretcher, the others were laid back instead filming the star who was unconscious with their smart phone.
It was one of the nurses who made attempt to put him on a stretcher so he can be attended to while also cautioning her colleagues who looked unconcerned.
Unfortunately, the popular Reality Star lost his life due to lack of professionalism amongst the unprofessional medical staff at the hospital.
Situations like this has become common in the country which is partly due to non-regulation of hospitals in Nigeria giving rise to unprofessional hospital staff and management.
The Lagos State government should use all it’s might to deal with the medical professionals and also the hospital to sound as a warning to others.
