Award winning Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has revealed her intention to run for the Lagos State governorship race as Deputy to Olajire Adediran who is running as it’s governor under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The actress in an interview with Channels TV claimed that with over 20 million followers across all her social media pages, that she is sure to get votes come 2023 Lagos State governorship election race.
The actress in her words revealed that she is getting into politics to help better Nigeria.
Whatever the case maybe, we are going to find out if she can help pull the plug and help wrestle power away from the current Lagos State ruling party All Progressive Party (PDP).
