President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday October 7th presented a 2023 Appropriation Bill to the Joint Session of the National National Assembly for traveling expenses.
According to the bill, President Buharis’s office seeks N11.92 billion for official traveling in 2023.
The N11.92 billion includes repairs and upgrade of the presidential aircraft
The bill has led to anger from the masses who questions why such outrageous budget should be submitted given the dire situation the economy is in.
With the president leaving office come 2023 there shouldn’t have been any need to sanction such amount for traveling and maintenance of presidential aircraft as the next president will have his own plan when he steps into office.
