The Northern leaders have been busy Turbaning Bandits, including notorious Zamfara State bandit, Ado Aleru, yet Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is still held in DSS detention center for no apparent reason.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since 2021, from where he is undergoing trial.
This has also prompted widespread condemnation from Nigerians and particularly the youth group of apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide which also demanded the unconditional release of Kanu.

The Ohanaeze itself echoed this while reacting to the turbaning of a wanted bandit in Zamfara State. Ohanaeze in their statement echoed that if a wanted bandit could be given a chieftaincy title, then the government had no choice but to free Kanu.
The President Muhammad Buhari’s led administration has been keeping quiet on the matter, but the truth still remains that this present administration has been dividing Nigeria since Buhari got into power.
