The rate of young Nigerian men getting married to older white women because of money and immigration documents has become so alarming with many marrying women who are more than 40 years older than them.
Many have attributed this due to the level of poverty and hardship in the country.
Recently, a young Nigerian man in his early 20s tied the knot with his older oyibo white woman in a glamorous court wedding at the federal marriage registry in Ikoyi, Lagos State that was attended by the young man’s family and friends.
This and many other instances has become the talk of the town, with these so called big boys doing it to get their immigration documents that will enable them travel out of the country for pastures new.
