Presidential aspirant and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has been labeled “stingy” by many Nigerian but is there really a truth in it.
Countless of times we’ve heard people calling the 2023 presidential aspirant under Labour Party a Stingy man, with their political slogan echoing such Which translates to (we no dey give shishi).
According to The Punch when they interviewed Obi concerning the slogan, he simply replied;
“I am not stingy. I use public money for public good”.
Obi stated that despite the huge resources God has deposited in Nigeria, many people still endure hunger and “don’t know when the next meal will come.”
Many call him stingy but most enlightened Nigerians see’s him as the only one to get them out of poverty and drive already depleted Nigerian economy to the right direction.
